A series of 4 grasstrack evenings on The South Bretton playing fields once again (behind Ringwood off Bretton Way PE3 9SH). There will be racing for under 16's with grasstrack training for older riders and fixed wheel riders. The cost will be just £4 per evening and refreshments will be available. So whether you want to race, have a ride round the track or just come down to watch you are all most welcome.
These will start at 6.45pm each week and loan cycles and helmets are available if required at no extra cost, subject to availability so please arrange in advance if possible. Please arrive in good time to register.
They will be race evenings, but its very much entry level racing with beginners very much in mind. All roadworthy bikes suitable to ride on grass will be fine. For the £4 each rider will get several races and a good evenings entertainment as well as the opportunity to emulate your Olympic track heroes.
The dates will be
Friday 17th May, Friday 14th June, Friday 12th July & Friday 16th August
The racing will be for under 16's with some grasstrack training for fixed and freewheel riders for 16's and over. Refreshments will be available each week.
Please help us to spread the word to any cycling friends you may have as a good turnout will help make the evenings be a success.
Any enquiries please contact Malc.
