Choose from 80-, 60- or 35-mile courses, with each route beginning and ending at Southern Distilling Company in Statesville, N.C. These routes offer some of the prettiest views to be found in the North Carolina foothills, and you’ll have a chance to ride alongside professional cyclists from the Project Echelon Racing Team!
Prizes will be awarded for the timed segment on the climb up Barrett Mountain, as well as for top fundraisers. Make sure to set up your individual or team fundraising page and share your link with your network so you can be in the fundraising winners’ circle for a great cause!
All riders will receive an American flag to carry in honor of a Veteran.
The post-race awards ceremony and celebration at @Southern Distilling will feature a guest speaker (to be announced soon!!), along with music, drinks, food trucks and family-friendly activities.
Event proceeds benefit Purple Heart Homes, a registered 501c3 supporting service-connected disabled and aging veterans from all eras across the continental U.S., Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Co-founded by two combat-wounded Veterans, PHH provides critical home repairs and renovations to help veterans live independently in their homes. The organization also builds tiny homes to meet transitional and emergency housing needs for Veterans.
We can't wait to meet and ride with you for this amazing cause!
