With distances varying from the 80km Explorer, the 135km Medio Fondo, up to the formidable 180km Gran Fondo with over 2500m of climbing, there is something for everyone on two wheels. With fully signposted routes, chip-timing, downloadable gpx files and feed stations on the route, this is a great way to explore the beautiful Chiltern countryside.
The course starts in the pretty village of Redbourn, and the Gran Fondo tackles the areas most famous climbs, including Bison Hill, Dunstable Downs, Ivinghoe Beacon, Wiggington, Whiteleaf, Wardrobes, Wigan's Lane, Kingston Hill, Fingest Lane, Loxboro Hill, Smalldean Lane, Frith Hill, New Road and finishing with Pedley Hill.
The Medio Fondo and Explorer challenges will follow the same initial route and then cut off to tackle the shorter distances, see the routes on the Map menu above.
This event is delivered in partnership between Verulam CC and ATW.
There is limited parking at the venue.
