Beginning at our wonderful event hub at Capital Park in Cambridge, we have devised two great routes taking in some of Cambridgeshire and Suffolk's most scenic villages and landscapes! So if you've ever fancied giving an event a go, want to improve on your fitness or are a sportive regular that's just looking for their next bit of 'bling', we think our ride is for you!
No matter which route you choose to take on, we hope you get as much out of the ride as we have putting it together. We’re not pro cyclists but we love our cycling and believe that as well the once or twice a week leisure rides (which of course are brilliant, especially if you’re able to share the fun with a gang of like-minded roadie loons!) it’s really beneficial to have a focal point to these rides training wise by throwing a few cycle events into the cycling calendar.
We feel our 30 mile route is absolutely perfect for riders who have maybe fell out of fitness over the years, maybe had kids or not ridden for a while. 30 miles is also an ideal distance for younger riders who maybe want to take their riding a little more seriously, and give a longer distance a go so we’d like to think our 30 mile route is really something for everyone.
Our 65 mile route on the other hand is a little more challenging with over 2350ft of elevation, as you wind your way through scenic villages across two counties. We’re not suggesting it’s a mountain stage at the Tour de France but it’ll definitely get your heart rate up!
Once your ride is complete, our Capital Park base provides a lovely backdrop to wind down, enjoy a coffee and share stories of your epic ride, while flashing off your medal of course! As well as this, we shall also have some on-site food options so you can refuel before making your way home.
