Organised by the Freemasons of Edinburgh to raise much-needed funds for this year’s nominated charity Prostate Scotland, you don’t need to be a Mason to participate!
The 40-mile circular route starts in South Queensferry by going over the iconic Forth Road Bridge, travels along the Fife Coastal Route, has a snack stop/comfort break just before coming back over the Kincardine Bridge, (which is also the start point for the Short Run) and returns along the southern edge of the Firth of Forth. Although held on main roads they're quiet on Sundays, and the route is sign-posted and marshalled for your safety and peace of mind.
There are three start times for varying abilities, it's a great introduction if you’ve never taken part in a charity cycle run before, and a well organised run if you have.
There is no entry fee or minimum amount - just raise as much as you can in sponsorship and send it direct to our charity via JustGiving so that they can claim an additional 25% back from the taxman. You must register to take part, and entries close on 19th July 2015.
