Heading into the weekend, we’re thinking about one thing only and that’s getting out on the bike.

Today’s bit of rain has made us realise just how lucky we’ve been to have perfect riding conditions for the last few weeks, so we’re planning on making the most of what’s left.

If you’re heading out, why not snap a picture, or even a little video and use #MyCyclingWeekend to let us know about it?

You’ll be in with a chance of winning a road.cc swag grab prize, so it’s worth it!

Who’s heading for the gravel roads this weekend?

Well, it’s not coming home, but it’s not all over either. In fact, it’s just half-time. We reach the halfway point in our season: 9 trips are done and 9 still to go! And it’s quite a start to the second half. We’re back in the glorious Alps for the next two weekends. We’ll be all over Alpe d’Huez either side of the Tour’s visit, and we’ll probably be reacquainting ourselves with the Galibier, the Croix de Fer, the Izoard and one or two others you may have heard of and others you might not. Can’t wait!
