A cyclist is fighting for their life and another sustained serious injuries after a motorist reportedly crashed into a bike race in the German capital, Berlin.

Two other riders were said to have been slightly injured in the incident , which happened at around 12.45pm on Sunday, reports The Mirror.

The race, held on open roads, is organised by Germany’s second oldest  cycling club, the Radsport Club Charlottenburg.

Full details of the incident, which happened in the Nikolskoer Weg district of the city, are yet to emerge.
