We’ve got a confession to make. This week we’re going slightly off script. Sure, on Friday Cycle Surgery and us here at road.cc asked you to send in selfies in a bid to win a #mycyclingweekend prize, but a non-selfie photo has taken the prize.
We’re sorry. Really, we are. But the situation got out of our hands, and like many wheelie bin incidents over the last week, there’s only one person to blame: Doris.
That’s right, it’s all the nasty storm’s fault. Oh, and Helen Whitegate. Helen Whitegate and her excellent sense of humour.
This photo of a downed sign has *ahem* stormed Helen to #mycyclingweekend fame.
Congratulations on your prize, Helen.
Sorry to all you other selfie-ers, we hope you’ll understand.
While we’ve not got any prizes to give out for the selfie-ers among you, we will give you the airtime your selfies deserve.
As always, it’s never too late to get involved in the #mycyclingweekend fun. Just pop your photos onto Twitter or Instagram, tag them with both the #mycyclingweekend and #CycleSurgery hashtags, and we’ll see them.
Have a great week!
