This new carbon handlebar launched by Ibis is adjustable between 750mm and 800mm by the use of alloy inserts that thread into the end of the bars.

The two inserts measure 25mm each and can be themselves cut down if you wanted a different maximum width of bars. There are two different versions of the bar: Lo-Fi with 10mm rise and Hi-Fi with a 30mm rise with each getting a 9 upsweep and a 5 backsweep and they weigh  238 g and 249 g respectively.

The bars will come as stock on Ibis bikes that are specced XT or higher from the Ibis range. You can also buy them separately for £169.99. We’ve not come across a problem where we felt the need to change the width of our bars, let us know if it is something you reckon you’d make use of in the comments below!
