A video from Mashable pits two well-known cycling film makers against one another in a race across New York City – Lucas Brunelle on a Cinelli bike, and Casey Neistat driving a McLaren 675LT.

Neistat – best known for his Bike Lane video – concludes that “supercars are awesome but useless in New York City” as he is held up at a succession of red lights on the way from the Williamsburg Bridge over the East River to the Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side.

Brunelle, who has achieved a certain level of notoriety through films focusing on alleycat racing, including one shot in London, isn’t going to let traffic lights get in his way, and even manages a stop for waffles on the way.
