Mark Cavendish and wife Peta Todd are expecting their second baby together.
Peta Todd announced the news on Instagram by posting a picture of herself showing a distinct bump and captioned: "Think I might have left it too late to start legs, bums & tums! #anothercavendish #iamabarrel".
Ms Todd is past the three-month mark at which it's customary to announce a pregnancy. According to The Sun, the pair kept the news quiet due to possible hitches after she had a cervical cancer scare in 2013.
After many messages of congratulation from her followers, she posted on Twitter: "Thanks for all the lovely messages my lovelies. Wasn't straight forward from the start so kept it 'mum' so to speak, but over half way now."
Cav responded by retweeting Ms Todd's pregnant selfie and adding: "We're taking over…… #proud".
Peta Todd and Mark Cavendish married in 2013. They have a three year old daughter, Delilah Grace, and Ms Todd has a son, Finnbar, born in 2006 during a previous relationship.
