The Tour of Britain has been around in one form or another since the 1940s, but seemed to have disappeared from the calendar until it was revived in 2004 after a four-year absence. In this video that made its debut in London on Thursday evening at the presentation of the route of this year's race, the tenth since it reappeared, organisers SweetSpot celebrate some of the high points of the race during that a decade that has seen it go from strength to strength.
Reports are that ASO and RCS are among those bidding for the right to organise the race with SweetSpot's contract ending this year, but at least as far as promo videos go, we reckon the Surrey-based firm shows here that it can match the continental heavyweights punch for punch.

Nice vid, some stunning
Nice vid, some stunning scenery in there. Not too sure about some of the crazy fast editing. It doesn’t build tension or excitement, just eye ache!
