Be seen, be safe....hi-viz by NYC's Vespertine

They're calling it Haute Réflecteur

A New York fashion designer was never going to make ordinary safety wear for cyclists.

The Wall Street Journal has described it as "a real traffic-stopper" and we're not arguing. Ranging in price from US$93-138, the various reflective and fluorescent Verspertine garments are styled to look chic as well as safe and they've even coined their own term: "Haute Réflecteur designs that turn heads whether you’re cycling, walking, running or dancing the night away," according to founder Sarah Canner.

"Entirely made in New York City’s garment district, Vespertine uses sustainable materials, like our eco-circle 100% recycled polyester, as well as exclusive fabrics sourced from small European mills and beyond," says the blurb. "Our highly reflective materials are from 3M and ANSI and EN471 compliant."

Flourescent yellow will never look good - ever. Far too acid. To many tubby builders and jobsworths in it. Even Rapha decided on orange for their macs.

Hi- thanks- the fake fur is actually ostrich feathers, which are incredibly light, soft and insulating!
