Videos: Peter Sagan rides rings round world trials champ Vittorio Brumotti

Tinkoff-Saxo's new recruit does 720-degree wheelie at recent training camp...

He may be at a new team for 2015, but his switch from Cannondale Pro Cycling to Tinkoff-Saxo was never going to curtail Peter Sagan’s sense of showmanship – as this YouTube video demonstrates.

Shot at the team’s recent training camp on Gran Canaria, Sagan literally rides rings round world trials champion Vittorio Brumotti as he executes a 720-degree wheelie around the Italian.

Mind you, Brumotti’s no slouch on a road bike, either – here’s his rather stunning response to Martyn Ashton’s Road Bike Party films.

Simon joined road.cc as news editor in 2009 and is now the site’s community editor, acting as a link between the team producing the content and our readers. A law and languages graduate, published translator and former retail analyst, he has reported on issues as diverse as cycling-related court cases, anti-doping investigations, the latest developments in the bike industry and the sport’s biggest races. Now back in London full-time after 15 years living in Oxford and Cambridge, he loves cycling along the Thames but misses having his former riding buddy, Elodie the miniature schnauzer, in the basket in front of him.

I don't think much of the actual filming of Brumotti's video.... It seems to miss out bits of the trick, like how he got on the goal posts in the first place. Still cool though.

I couldn't do anything like that...but does it count if you have your hand on someone's shoulder!?
