Video: Six of the best sub-£2,000 road bikes - Affordable superbikes
If you’ve got £2,000 to spend on a new road bike this year, this is the video for you. We’ve handpicked six of the best road bikes that we’ve tested here at road.cc that will provide loads of performance and value for money.
Two grand is clearly a lot of money to spend on a bike but it can get you a very good, well-equipped machine that’ll be perfect for any cycling adventures or challenges you have lined up this year.
Remember, these are bikes we’ve tested recently, and a list of six bikes doesn’t allow us to fit every single model in the video, but if you’ve got suggestions for great bikes at this price, we’d love to hear about them in the comments section. It’s all helpful to anyone watching this vid.

I'm too fat for most carbon bikes (most of the ones I looked at were 100Kg max rider), so have just got a Planet-X Hurricane (titanium) which was 2k and it's is awesome!
My choice would be the Rose Team GF Four Ultegra.
7 kilos - complete Ultegra (no sneeky substitutions).
