The Truflo Electron Compact Electric Pump is indeed mini with a weight of 120g, or 126g with the extra valve. It fits nicely into your back pocket or saddlebag for those moments when you need it on the road – although ringing out 83 decibels when in action, it’s not for quietly pumping and sneaking out the door. It is however truly useful when travelling or when repairing a puncture out and about and has become my new back pocket and travel companion.
Design
The Truflo Electron Compact Electric Pump lives up to its name in terms of size and convenience. Weighing just 126g at its heaviest, when fitted with the Schraeder hose, it is exceptionally lightweight.

Its compact design allows it to fit comfortably in either your back pocket or a saddlebag, making it an ideal companion for cyclists who need to carry a pump without adding significant bulk or weight. This also goes for travelling with your bike – there is now no need to carry a track pump.
Performance
When in operation, the pump produces 83 decibels, so it is not the quietest option for inflating tyres discreetly. Nevertheless, its practical benefits shine through, especially when travelling or dealing with a puncture while out on the road.

Prior to inflation, you set the target pressure in bars or PSI using the large LED display. The pump demonstrates impressive accuracy and can inflate a 28mm tyre to 60psi in approximately 48 seconds. (I checked the accuracy using a separate pressure gauge.)

During inflation, holding the Truflo is easy as it is light and vibrates less than similar products. It does get warm, but unlike the Muc-Off AirMach Electric Mini Inflator – Pro I am yet to experience it overheating or getting too hot to handle.
At the end of inflation, the Truflo will automatically stop when the desired pressure is reached.
> How to choose the best bike tyre pressure — balancing speed, comfort and grip
Truflo suggests you’ll be able to get three inflations of a 700 x 38mm hybrid tyre to 50PSI from a single charge. If found I was getting five inflations of 28mm tyres, although I did notice a decline in charge if the pump hadn’t been used for a period of time.
Extra accessories include a ball needle, a Schrader valve, a Schrader valve hose, a lanyard, a storage bag, a Ziplock carry bag and a USB-C charging cable.

The Muc-Off AirMach Electric Mini Inflator – Pro is priced at £100. Other options include the Flextail Tiny Bike Pump, which is now £63, and the Cycplus Electric Air Pump A2, which is cheaper at £39.37, but also realistically far less portable.
Conclusion
The Truflo Electron Compact Electric Pump is light, fits in a pocket or saddlebag and inflates quickly multiple times accurately.

Test Report
What does the manufacturer say about this product?:
“A faster, more precise alternative to traditional portable pumps. At just 118g, the Electron is small enough to slip into a jersey pocket or saddle bag — yet powerful enough to inflate tyres up to 120 PSI, with no pumping required.”
Any further comments on quality?:
Great piece of kit, fractionally heavier than advertised at 120-126g with the hose vs 118g. The ideal companion on a bike ride or when travelling. Just ensure the hours are sociable if using in a hotel as it is quite loud.
Any further comments on performance?:
Simple and easy to adjust and use. A little loud but light, quick, accurate and small.
How does the price compare to that of similar products in the market, including ones recently tested?:
In some cases the Truflo Electron Compact Electric Pump is half the price of its direct competitors.

I’m taking this review with a massive mound of salt given that Road CC put the Prestaflator Go into its highest ‘recommends’ category. Mine was junk and lots of others had the same experience – it didn’t work.
Check out Zero Friction Cycling’s video and the many comments:
It definitely sounds like a bunch of people had a bad experience with that product. Does that definitely mean that a positive road.cc review must be Lies And Corruption … rather than – say – simply that our reviewer had a unit which worked fine, and wrote it up accordingly?
Clearly bought and paid for by Big Air.
I pay attention to professional reviewers most people won’t have tested enough other products to make comparisons. I read customer reviews to weed out products which have poor QC, particularly as professional reviewers will likely be sent a unit which has been checked first.
I got a free replacement after mine broke. The replacement one has less than half the battery life of the first one.
“…three inflations of a 700 x 38mm hybrid tyre to 50PSI from a single charge. five inflations of 28mm tyres…”
I couldn’t justify an electric pump for skinny tyres because a hand pump will do the job quick enough. Tell me if it will inflate my 27.5×2.8 mtb tyres.
At the risk of sounding like a certain Home Counties poster, this is a road bike website and it’s not reasonable to expect them to cover every single use case for a product.
No, Rantel, as usual you just sound like a bitter old man.
Eh? What are you on about?
“I don’t think you can expect a reviewer to cover every single possible use case for a pump and this being a road cycling website they’re obviously going to focus on road tyres.”
“Ooh, you bitter old man!”
I rather think we are in non sequitur territory here…
Looks suspiciously like the coospo inflator available on Aliexpress for £25. Took a punt as worth it for that price and I’ve been surprised how much I use it. Truthfully it’s no replacement for a pump. But I no longer carry co2 and I tend to use it as much as a workshop tool pre ride as during.
