reflective Gilet, must be getting safety conscious in my old age!

Noticed this and have had a look in halfords, does anyone have any real experience of this in use?

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_948294_langId_-1_categoryId_271424

Any alternatives worth a look?

Basically i am commuting a fair distance so i guess it makes sense to be as visable as i can be.

Also worth a look if you are willing to pay a bit more is a RonHill Gilet. It has a light that attaches by velcro to the back. I use one a lot and it seems to stand lots of washing and wearing without losing the bright colour. Obviously the light is not visible if you wear a rucksack though.

They often have Karrimor reflective gilets in Sports Direct on sale for around £8. They have no back pockets but they do have two side pockets with zips. I wear mine a lot to keep the chill off in autumn/spring.

If they've got your size at a good price, I'd say go for it. My sportful kit has done me proud for a good few years now.
