Can't find derailleur hanger for Fixie Inc Chiprace 325

Hi folks, I'm having a bit of a mare with getting a replacment derailleur hanger for my 2010 Fixie Inc Chiprace 325.

Fixie Inc went bust in 2011, I've not managed to find any hangers for sale online (originals or on 3rd party websites such as gearmechhanger.com), and getting a run of custom CNC'd hangers will likely cost upwards of £1000 as companies do 100 pieces minimum.

Does anyone have a surplus of spare hangers they'd be willing to sell a couple of please? It shares the same hanger as the Betty Leeds and Pure Blood.

Alternatively is anyone in the same boat and interested in clubbing together to get a run of replacements made?

Last line - anyone know of someone handy with CAD or milling parts?

Cheers, Jamie

There is a thing called a Universal Derailleur Hanger, or rather there are quite a few, made by various companies.  Their idea is to make one that fits the largest number of hangers and charge the public four times the regular price.

But it sounds as though you would be happy to buy one so your next move is that nice Mr Google where they all live.

Thank you, I've had a look and unfortunately no joy but they may have some compatible with a bit of bodging, I'll have a trawl through!

Saw your picture on the other vintage bikes thread, just for clarity are all seven holes on the hanger for bolts or are some of them "weight weenie" holes?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Only two of the holes are for the bolts yeah, the rest are weight saving.

Ah, shouldn't be too difficult to find one that can fit then, for example this one below, a cheap one from Amazon, although it wouldn't fit exactly (I don't think) has the bolt holes in exactly the same place so it must be quite a common configuration. If you have a good local bike shop I'd suggest going in there and asking if you can have a rummage through their spare parts drawer, my (sadly now closed) local guy had literally hundreds of different ones, I'm sure you would be able to find one that either fits just right or would do after a little filing. A lot cheaper than having new ones machined! Good luck.

I think you're probably onto something there, I'll get in touch with the local shops. Thanks again 1
