Driver guilty of GBH after using car as a weapon
It was against a scooter rider though. But 10 years is much better than a lot of Careless and Dangerous driving offences are getting.

I for one am hoping against hope that more dangerous drivers are charged with GBH rather than Careless/Dangerous Driving. Million dollar question is that what would it take to start a trend for doing this for cyclists?

Same on the TPT. They feel it's their right to dominate all spaces. Strictly, they should never block the path where it's wider than single-track.

Excellent work Gwent Police! I wonder if they have ever prosecuted a driver for close-passing a cyclist?
Well found.
I hope this nasty peice of work has some regret for his actions, and that the scooterist makkes some sort of recovery.
"He previously admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice."
It is refreshing to see that the CPS didn't just go for the easy conviction based on his admission of guilt on the above offences but went for GBH.
