The Cheshire 100 is one of 4 challenge events we’ll be hosting across the country in 2019 designed for riders who are looking to challenge themselves on a longer route distance than our regular RIDE IT events.
The event has a choice of fully waymarked routes, well stocked feed stations sponsored by High 5 Sports Nutrition, mechanical and sweeper van support if things go wrong, electronic chip timing to record your ride along with a unique event specific finishers medal, goody bag and post ride food waiting for you at the end.
For our Cheshire 100 ride we have 100km or 100 mile route options both starting from the grounds of the Arley Hall Estate but offering some very contrasting terrain.
The 100km route winds its way through country lanes on the Cheshire Plains passing both Dunham Massey Deer Park and Tatton Park along the way before returning back to the finish.
The 100 mile route is not only longer but heads away from the Cheshire Plains and on to some much more challenging terrain on the edge of the Peak District. There’s a chance to test your legs on Blaze Hill as we head through Macclesfield Forest before starting to head back past Alderley Edge and then a relatively fast and flat run in across the Cheshire Plains to the finish.

They should read scampercraft and not exaggerate the danger of scuttling along. I discourage squirrel predation by acting like one.

Perhaps they should apply the same standard to dangerous, unsafe, poorly designed roads and COMPLETELY rip them out rather than "fix" or "redesign"...
