Video Just In: Merida Scultura 6000 Disc

Mat Brett talks us around the Shimano Ultegra equipped road bike before we send it out for a full-on review

The Merida Scultura 6000 Disc has just arrived here at road.cc, and here’s a quick look before we take it out on the road.

It’s a £2,400 road bike that’s a close relative of the Merida Scultura Disc Team that we reviewed recently

Check out our guide to Merida’s 2017 road bike range to see how the Scultura 6000 Disc slots into the lineup.

The Orro Gold STC Disc Ultegra 11-speed that we reviewed recently is £200 cheaper at £2,199.99.

That bike has a super-stiff spread tow carbon frame, a Shimano Ultegra groupset (obviously!), and Shimano 805 hydraulic brakes.

It’s an excellent gran fondo bike – quick and very responsive.

The Wilier GTR Team Disc endurance road bike that we tested a few months ago was £2,699.

We called it a “comfortable race-leaning endurance bike with the all-weather performance of Shimano's hydraulic discs”.

Again, it’s a bike built up with a Shimano Ultegra groupset.

It’s not all about the spec sheet, though. We’ll be back with a review on the Merida Scultura 6000 soon.
