Evans Cycles South Down Sportive
Starting in the quaint village of Singleton, this ride will test both strength and stamina as we take on some of the most iconic and difficult riding in England’s youngest National Park. We begin with a gradual climb to Duncton and after a quick descent of almost 400 ft, we are soon out exploring the best of the Sussex countryside. Efforts are rewarded with a long descents but the hills don’t stop; Butser Hill awaits and brings with it the highest point of the ride. A 2 mile ascent up Kennel Hill to another impressive hill top vista signals the final climb of the day. When you see Goodwood Racecourse, you can be assured that it is all downhill to the finish! This ride is challenging but is complemented by an abundance of stunning scenery and some of the best riding in the South-East of England.
