Our Kent Cycling Festival offers an amazing cycling experience. Choose your type of ride, either on road or adventure ride and hit the villages of Kent for a ride you won't forget. The on road ride offers distances of 50 miles and 65 miles. The 40 mile route will take you through villages heading south west of Canterbury such as Fordwich, Westmarsh Ware, Sandwich, Eastry and Chillenden. The extention route which makes up 65 miles also takes in villages heading round the perimeter of Dover such as West Langdon, West Cliffe and Whitfield. The route is fully on road and really shows off the beautiful Kent countryside.
Our adventure off-road ride however offers a 40 mile experience completely different to the on-road. It's a ride which is made for hybrid or mountain bikes, the first section takes riders on the Crab and Winkle trail towards Whitstable and heads out on the esplanade through Herne Bay to Reculver where riders head out on trails around Hunters Forstal, Herne and into Blean Wood before returning to Canterbury. This ride is mostly off-road however please note it is definitely an introduction to it as there are on road sections.
