I replaced the stock Mavic
I replaced the stock Mavic Aksiums on my road bike with Fulcrum 3s a couple of years ago. While I had been thinking about upgrading my wheels I only did so because I cracked the rim of the Mavic front wheel.I have been very happy with the 3s. They feel good, are definitely stiffer as I got brake rub on the original wheels when out the saddle, but I don’t on these. I also bought better tyres (GPS4000 25mm) at the time of change. I don’t have any experience with Fulcrum 77s.
I doubt you will be disappointed with the Fulcrum 3s, but whether you will feel enough of a benefit to justify the outlay…….
