Bardet shown at 14?  9 for GC, but can’t think where his extra 5 points come from.

Did he get Barguil’s points by accident?

No, but I had a choice last

No De Gendt, but the dilemma I had last night was Uran or Aru.  Went Uran yes

I’ve stuck with the same team for the fifth consecutive stage – I’m sure I’ve never done that in any fantasy comp before!

Didn’t want to waste 2 transfers bringing Kittel in, so could miss out on 50 points but decided it isn’t a nailed-on enough sprint to risk it. So put a few quid on him instead, just in case…

    Kittel off the back.

I didn’t go for him either.

    27th in Standard.  A bit

27th in Standard.  A bit worried about transfers though.  Only 10before today’s stage so I expect to slip back a bit.

Not sure what to do today to be honest.  How many transfers to gamble with.

Purist, I went Porte and Sagan so that didn’t work.  Needed more from Greipel to be honest and I can’t really explain my Colbrelli pick.

    No real world experience, but…

Look at the speeds the pros were hitting in the Tour de Suisse, 120kph+, their wheels didn’t fail.

Not to say they don’t fail – ever seen the video of the guy riding a Canyon down Mount Ventoux and he overheats the pads?

Comes down to how heavy you are and how much breaking you are doing. Personally, I wouldn’t be too worried about using a pro level set of carbon wheels on a descent, one would hope that they have been tested and designed against failure.

Not sure Pro experience helps the OP.  Pros don’t ride clinchers, they ride tubs.

    It is scored properly

No mountain points are awarded for the last climb as the mountain point is the finish.

That is the only mountain he contested on that stage

    OK. Thanks

    Thoroughly enjoyed this Giro.

Thoroughly enjoyed this Giro.  Teams, as often happens in a Grand Tour, have got very similar in the later stages.  Stage 21 might see a few differences as people choose between GC and specialists.  There will also be a a variation in the number of transfers players have left.

    I agree with fxceltic that

I agree with fxceltic that Landa is under scored.  He is probably in lots of teams in Standard so won’t make a huge difference st the top.  I have him in Purist which might help me, but I am way down the standings in that one.
