When I see the imprint of that layer, I know that the tyre is near its end. I’ve never ever noticed the effect of the squaring off. Maybe I don’t corner fast enough….Clearly, the less rubber there is, the less the tyre is resistant to punctures so if road debris is a factor around where you are, that may be too late.
Conti GP4000s have wear indicators. Two little holes in the tyre surface. When they start to disappear it is time to replace.

I have a 2015 Supersix
I have a 2015 Supersix ‘normal’ frame and my mate has a similar vintage Hi-Mod. I have ridden his and I don’t think there is a great deal of difference. I certainly didn’t get particularly jealous.
Ultegra in general is the sensible choice. Very marginal improvements for Dura Ace over a significant spend.
Di2 is something you would notice in. Whether you want to spend your money on that or not is obviously your choice, but you would notice that you had as it sis different.

I had a ‘tink’ going on when I pedalled. Took me a while to work out that the outside of my front mech was just being touched by the crank arm. Even when re-adjusted the SRAM Red mech and the Cannondale crank have a very small clearance. It is even more of a pain in that the limit screws seem to move occassionally.
Hope you find yours.

Me too.

I am certain Road CC will want rid of them. Just don’t know if they are able.

Stage 6’s KOMs were Cat 3 and Cat 2 by the looks of it, not Cat 1 and Cat 2 as listed, the points just don’t add up for it. And I found the combativity awards in the reports on the race website.Hopefully that clears everything up.
Well done, definitely one of the harder races to manage this year.
As the season closes, I would just like to thanks all the people who have done scores, start lists etc this year. I think the focus on WT races and tidier admin has helped this year.
Thanks.

It is shit if you miss a deadline and it has happened to me, but the deadline was on the site when the competition opened.
There is an element of self responsibility.
Andy and the other guys have worked hard this year, administration issues have been lower than in the last couple of years and it is the best value £10 I have spent this year. I hope your comments are tongue in cheek.

Given the UKs government poor stance on road user legislation I am not sure why any part of the UK devolved administrations would do a poorer job.
fair point – just as long as manage to deal with ageing drivers in a responsible way
Unfortunately no part of the UK has done that yet.
