There’s a scrape mark along
There’s a scrape mark along the wheel at the height of the end of the lift guide, so it looks to me like the plastic flexed back as it scraped past, then sprung out again, leaving it embedded in the tyre.
Surely the lorry driver is blameless though as the stickers show the parked car suddenly turned up in it’s blind spot so didn’t heed the warning.It does seem as though there’s one (most) essential problem missing from that list – the driver’s over-inflated estimation of their own ability to navigate tight spaces, and refusal to seek assistance in doing so.
Still, at least we’re maintaining rigorous standards of training for goods vehicle licences which should ensure that incidents like this are vanishingly rare.

Sorry to be a spoilsport but we’ve been asked to remove the squirrel pic by its owner. If we can stick to royalty-free squirrels in future that’d be grand…This just sounds like an excuse for squirrel exploitation to me.

Should a collision occur between the vehicle and any person within the road closure, then offences such as Careless or Dangerous driving could be considered.Erm, really? So you can’t be careless or dangerous unless you actually hit someone?
