Hey, when using the calculator, it gives me roughly what I have found works for my 2.1s on my 26 inch bikes.
Gets a nod from me.

Big fat heavy tube and set of park tyre boots. Just in case. Even taking care of the spare tube, talked, tissue papered and multiple plastic bags, will probably replace after 5 years. When you need it in an emergency, you really need it.

Dynaplug when I can afford it
Dynaplug when I can afford it, went for lifeline’s, only a fiver, bit of a small tool. Difficult to shove in, replaced with muc off, bigger tool and nice pouch, two different size anchovies, and protective thing on prongs.
Gave the lifeline to bloke at work, who had just gone tubeless.

I went for the Hutchinson
I went for the Hutchinson tubeless patch kit, MTB as my tyres are plus, there are road versions. Thick, feather edge patches and what seems to be a tube of flexible superglue. For more of a permanent repair than anchovies. I have what has seemed to be a permanent anchovie repair, and thought about using the kit, but didn’t want to open the glue as once opened, it WILL be dried up when I really needed it.
There are other manufactures kits out there, but I’d heard good things about Hutchinson’s on here by secret-squirrel and on the web.

Air bubbles in the reservoir
Air bubbles in the reservoir don’t matter, when turned upside down they might move up to the pistons where they make a difference. Maybe…

I see it as a learning
I see it as a learning experience. A journey if you will.
It took me a decade to figure out how to easily set up my cantilevers (curve) so as to really get the best out of them. Just the doing. Vs were sooo easy.
I think the faff is very much worth it though, such power and control. I’m draining and replacing the fluid this weekend, better at doing it this time than a year ago. And servicing the pistons. Did a bit of looking into, got the brand specific bleed kit and a recommended tool, that I don’t really need because I got a prison press (highly recommended by me). Will bleed in a couple of weeks too, just to get my incompetent self’s tiny air bubbles out.
If I was travelling lots I’d get some of those travel piston keepers, though I hear that folded cardboard will suffice.

Looking at the pic in the cul-de-sac, looks to me that the car could have been on the road next to the cul-de-sac, maybe being drive a bit too fast.

I didn’t think that modern cars could fit in one of those old style garages.
I stand corrected, all it needs was a little lateral thinking…
