    You can get a computerised

You can get a computerised fit in a few shops. You sit on some seat – it takes readings, then you input some basic stats of height, weight etc and it comes up with a few saddles.

A little expensive, but the advantage is that it was about a 60 day warranty if it didn’t work out so you can swap to another.

I’ve heard that if you don’t

I’ve heard that if you don’t pay much attention to your cleats on your MTB shoes and they wear too much and you can’t undo them, a dremel tool is great to score a slot and use a flathead scredriver to remove them.

Obviously I have no personal experience of such a predicament.cheeky

After replacing BB and pedals traced it to not quite tight enough rear sprockets ( only heard under load up inclines).
Clicking noise at low speed up hill turned out to be a dynaplug brass end tubeless repair that had come off inside. I think at normal speed, it sat in the tyre and didn’t drop.

When you say rim tape, it take it you mean on the vertical side of the rim?
The Mavic UST don’t need that, so they are quite good in that respect. I’m finding myself needing to top up sealant more than I thought and check tyre pressure too a lot more than expected.

The older tyre they used to

The older tyre they used to come with was a bit ropey but the the current ones are good and score well on https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/road-bike-reviews/mavic-yksion-pro-ust-2018

The easiest tubeless setup you can get.

The wheels are quite good too !

The only issue I had was getting the sprockets off as the spindle is a bit soft, so I had to get the lbs to do that.

The other reason for raising it as that it may well come as an exit from lockdown where we are all required to wear a mask, so having some idea for cycling could be handy.
    Might also placate those ‘villagers’.

Given the massive reduction in traffic, seems a far easier solution to the problem in the current circumstances.
