I think a bottle of Febreze and leaving the shoes outside to dry in the sun might help then ?

God knows. Could have seen a friend. Could have been trying the buttons one by one in the car. Don’t worry about it. Is that Poole ? Flash RNLI building.

I guess at least 600 people

I guess at least 600 people going ? Maybe they’re going to ramp the prices up.  Perhaps people will pay big bucks just for any type of gig this year ?

    They are talking about 300

They are talking about 300 cars at each gig. So shouldn’t be too much of a nightmare.

    I think you did everything

I think you did everything perfectly.

I do feel sorry for the riders – that looks like a crap road to have to ride down.

Have you tried chatting to them ?  And I’d want the dog under control rather than able to wander out in front of me.

If its a shared path – slow down and expect all of this. I’ve never had any problems.

“Yesterday I was behind a bus for 6 minutes doing around 32mph.”

Maybe don’t do this in future then ? Where you right by the exhaust or just stuck in its wake ? Yuk.

Interesting looking back now at a rise in chest infections at the tail end of 2019 isn’t it ?  Hope you’re fully recovered now.

I reckon my winter cross bike

I reckon my winter cross bike is about 99% as fast as my carbon road bike. It just needs the road tyres on rather than the heavy heavy marathon tyres that I use in the winter. You really don’t need to spend big bucks.

    Blimey. That’s some weight loss.
    Congratulations.

I don’t see the point in having bikes that are too similar tbh. Your Mason sounds like an ideal winter bike ? Can do everything and you just need to change tyres for extra speed on the road.

If you can hang around a few months I think you’ll be spoilt for choice with people selling bikes that they bought with good intentions during lockdown.

    Xmas time I reckon.

Failing that Planet X or Ribble would be good bets for new.

An unusual request. Why do you need such power ?

Don’t forget the tyres need to be thought of. If you’re on narrow tyres it’s very easy to lock them up. Wider fatter tyres have more grip on the road.

Why not just ride the 100
Why not just ride the 100 miles outside ? Maybe laps of your local area if you’re concerned about this.

100m on a turbo is going to be horrible. And you’ll have numb bits for weeks.

I’ve been fairly happy doing 2 hours on a turbo in lockdown – but you’d be looking at 5 or 6 ?

Failing that get a cheapo bike computer that counts your revs. Then set the resistance as lightly as possible and you might do it in a few hours.

Can’t see the pics but I have seen a few examples of it happening to Ultegra.  I guess there’s more Ultegra out there though ?
