Also look here https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/coroners
“There is no definitive list of conclusions available to a Coroner. The following are those most commonly used:
- natural causes (including fatal medical conditions);
- accident or misadventure;
- industrial disease;
- dependence on drugs/non-dependent abuse of drugs;
- attempted/self-induced abortion;
- disasters subject to public inquiry;
- lawful killing (such as deaths caused during acts of war, or self-defence);
- unlawful killing;
- suicide;
- open verdict (where there is insufficient evidence for any other verdict).
The commencement of the provisions in the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 have added some further possible conclusions to this list:
alcohol/drug related death, and
road traffic collision.The conclusion of unlawful killing is restricted to the criminal offences of murder, manslaughter (including corporate manslaughter), and infanticide. Cases where driving causes death may, therefore, only be regarded as unlawful killing for inquest purposes if they satisfy the ingredients for manslaughter (gross negligence manslaughter) or where a vehicle is used as a weapon of assault and deliberately driven at a person who dies (murder or manslaughter depending on the intent).” (my emphasis)
It strikes me that the test for manslaughter is met and that Unlawful Killing would therefore be the right coroner’s verdict. The article doesn’t say what the conclusion actually was – misadventure, I’m wondering? But none of this will bring any of them back.

Spray.bike got me into rattle
Spray.bike got me into rattle-can spraying, but I didn’t stick with it long. You can get better results from Holts, Halfords, Canbrush, etc that are no more difficult to use.

4 month wait at Argos and likely to be similar with all the pro-cycling places.
Bear in mind that you have to submit the frame stripped of everything.
You might want to go the powder coating route – cheap, quick, simpler finishes and local. Are the forks chrome or something?

I can promise you it wasn’t that – but one to bear in mind for when it’s mine and another cyclist’s turn to block the road.

Owd Big ‘Ead has pretty much
Owd Big ‘Ead has pretty much summed it up – there’s always a gap: there was, created by the car that pulled up next to the first. I called out “behind” to the left-hand driver, who was out of his pick-up, he said something like “pardon?” in a slightly sarcastic/arsey tone, looking for offence, and I repeated the warning before I went through.
You know the sound they did on Shooting Stars when they each hold up a woman’s handbag* – he did that, twice. Actually, it’s quite satisfying that I reduced him to that, that was his best comeback, that silly sarcasm people do when they know fine they’re in the wrong.
Worrying that this man-child drives a 2 tonne pick-up and has had his likely prejudice confirmed, that cyclists are all impatient ass-holes, unlike The Squirrel. But I still don’t think he’d have been full of grace if he’d have encountered two bikes randomly blocking the road for him.

Audi driver speeding in Maidenhead “needed the facilities”
An Audi driver who was caught driving at nearly 80mph in a 40mph zone avoided punishment after providing a laundry list of excuses…
At least the only death here was my faith in the justice system: this stinks.

(Car gets trapped on) Dover
(Car gets trapped on) Dover beach
The sea is calm tonight.
The tide is full, the moon lies fair
Upon the straits; on the French coast the light
Gleams and is gone; the cliffs of England stand,
Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay.https://www.kentonline.co.uk/dover/news/car-gets-stuck-in-the-sea-248956/
