Its Wash Lane again https://www.eadt.co.uk/news/24108764.wash-lane-combs-ford-near-stowmarket-blocked-van/I rode it last week actually, you have to be several levels of insane to think it’s a good route when the water level is even low, when it’s that high as in the news article, what on earth are you thinking?

Among those now calling for Kent’s roads to be made safer is Keena Entwhistle, whose son Ethan died in a crash in October, two days before his 19th birthday.
The 46-year-old told KentOnline: “Neither I nor Ethan did anything wrong, but I have been left with a life sentence of this pain, and I do not want anyone else to ever feel this way.
“I think all roads in towns, and especially by schools, should be 20 miles an hour.

Plans to charge at Little Oysters’ free car park in Minster on Sheppey could ‘put people off’ visiting seafront
“When something has been free for so long you’re going to upset people. It will put people off who will find ways around it by parking on the street – it’s just human nature.

how about, drivers, you reflect that you’ve had a good run down the years with getting land / coastal land dedicated to your pretty much exclusive use you on the rates? If you can meet the costs of running a car, I’m pretty sure you can also afford to park it.
