Invoking the spirit of Trek’s cultish Y-Foil, albeit in a much more angular and inverted fashion, Ebi’s Panorama gravel e-bike boasts a Y-shaped carbon fibre frame that’s claimed to deliver a smoother ride.

By essentially diverting the seat tube into the down tube and bending the seatstays, the Panorama is said to absorb road vibrations, reinforce stiffness, and reduce frame flex for a more stable, confident feel on any surface. The rear of the Panorama’s frame isn’t dissimilar to the current higher end Specialized Sirrus X models that feature the brand’s ‘compliance junction’, while the little seat tube cluster reminds us of a Lapierre road bike. Mash these together and add a motor, and you get something approaching the Panorama. Sort of…

Suspension in gravel e-bikes is fast becoming a big selling point, with Specialized’s Creo 2 integrating its Future Shock system in its headtube, and Trek including its IsoSpeed seattube vibration absorber in its Domane+ models. The focus here is on making lightweight suspension systems that take the buzz and shocks out of bridleways and pocked country lanes. While Ebi might not have the R&D budget of Specialized or Trek to the best of our knowledge, custom frame design can – in theory – bring similar benefits.

However, we’re not so sure that Ebi’s design boosts storage, as the brand claims, as you’re basically losing a bottle cage and the ability to install longer frame bags.

The Panorama’s power comes courtesy of a 250W motor delivering a peak 600W, and 60-80Nm torque, with up to 110 km of assisted range. The motor weighs in at 1.9kg, bringing the total weight of the bike to an agreeable 15kg.

You also get a SRAM Rival e1 drivetrain with a carbon fibre crankset, plus what Ebi describes as a “1,320g ultra-light rim,” which is either a very heavy rim, or a reasonable single wheel (most likely), or an extremely light wheelset.

Intriguingly, the bike also comes with a BikePlay 5.5-inch touchscreen display, which seems to be an Android Auto system typically found on motorbikes – but it makes sense here.

The Panorama comes in three graffiti-inspired colourways (Sahara Pink, Baltic Blue, and Arctic Dawn) and three sizes. The cost is currently listed at a fairly competitive £3,592, with Ebi taking pre-orders for delivery in May 2026.
