The Look 785 Huez RS, with a name fittingly inspired by the Alpe d'Huez, is the latest and lightest bike that Look have ever produced, and will be used by the Fortuneo Oscaro team in the mountain stages of the 2017 Tour de France.

Six of the lightest road bikes
The claimed weight of the frame is 730g, and that's complimented by a 100% carbon fork weighing in at 280g. The key here is lightness and efficiency, with the light and stable frame purporting to provide a rigid and comfortable ride on all terrains. Look say the bike is responsive without being too demanding, and will suit regular cyclists who favour long distance riding, sportives and Gran Fondos.

Look put a lot of effort into sourcing the optimal carbon fibres for a climbing bike during the prodution process of the 785 Huez, choosing five different types of high modulus carbon. The results are a stiff headtube for precise handling, plus some flex in the slim seat stays for added comfort. The downtube has a lot of torsional stiffness, making for a more rigid bottom bracket shell and head tube.
Look say that an off-the-peg 785 Huez RS with top-end components could come in at 5.9kg, which would make it one of the lightest production road bikes.
The 785 Huez
Below the 785 Huez RS in the new line sits the 785 Huez, which is made from the same mould but has a different blend of carbon fibres for a 240g weight gain in the frame and 70g in the fork, still putting the bike in the very light category and keeping the frame weight under a kilogram at 990g.

Pricing is of course reassuringly high for the top spec; the 785 Huez RS coming with a recommended price tag of €9,999 for the Pro Team version with Sram Red eTap and Corima Carbon wheels. A version of the Huez RS with Dura-Ace 9100 and Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels can be yours for €5,999. Keo Max 2 Pedals
First released in 2009, the latest Keo 2 Max Carbon pedals have had a revamp, with a slimmed down body and a slightly wider platform. The surface area has a 25% increase, and weigh just 125g.

The spindle profile has also been improved, built around an oversized steel axle and with a conical spacer added in between the ball bearings to reduce friction and increase fluidity of the pedal stroke.
The Keo 2 max carbon pedals have an RPP of €99.90, and the composite versions come in at €79.90.
