"One long term worry I had at the outset was older Vittoria clinchers delaminating, where the tread edges would begin to lift from the cotton casing." Haven't Corsa pros been vulcanised (one piece rather than with the tread glued on) for several years now? Surely the reviewer did a quick Google into the history of delaminating Vittorias in writing this review? Did the reviewer actually handle the tyres cos it's pretty obvious up close and between the fingers when fitting that they are quite different.
@mdavidford I recognise the limitations of a dictionary definition (or three), but it is a fair indication of prevailing current usage. If you want to change the meaning of language, you barrel on, but don't be surprised if others don't follow your argument as a result!
That's the problem, this is less pure cycling. Thankfully it's a concept and doesn't actually exist.
A autonomous A10 with a simple 'protect steve' objective?
I stop at every red light, because in Germany you will lose your driving licence if you get caught, even as a cyclist Don't come to Lancashire, Hermann, because you won't be improving your karma. Here, if a driver goes through a red light and is video-ed, the police do nothing. ttps://upride.cc/incident/kn13aus_knausmotorhome_doubleredlightpass/ If you are treated to a considerably worse close pass than yours near Dublin, the police will do nothing either. They certainly wouldn't have stirred from their own car for that BMW. ttps://upride.cc/incident/px12dnd_stagecoach41_closepass/
A bike that can predict hazards. The thing that makes cycling most dangerous is drivers doing unpredictable things. I don't think any amount of tech will be able to fix that.
Pogačar isn't the problem. On the contrary. He's a great champion with immense talent and unlimited panache. He breaks the traditional pro racing script which makes him entertaining. Aged 27, he inspires a new generation of wannabe cyclists. Cool. People old enough remember that watching TdF under Indurain's supremacy was really boring. Five years in a row.
But it will lower your saddle adaptively all while preserving your privacy. Think of the (future) children.

I can’t blame the driver for
I can’t blame the driver for that. It’s just a shockingly bad design. The driver did nothing wrong, it’s just a totally stupid design from the start.

The driver did cut in slightly early, but I’d put the onus on the cyclist to anticipate the pinch and slow down in time. I just hope that they fix that design before someone gets hurt.

It’s hard to be certain, but it looks like the driver was avoiding oncoming traffic, and the cyclist hadn’t overtaken, he was still to the left of the car, and if he knew about the end of the cycle lane, it was 99% his fault not the driver.
That said, the designer needs staking out covered with honey on an anthill of particularly voracious stinging ants. About average for the UK, so perhaps the designer emigrated from here.

Agreed, but I’d say that whoever approved the design needs to be staked out and covered in multi-colour cockroaches too.
