Hopefully it could be relatively easy to track the vehicle down; residential area that time of the morning, seem to know the area, probably local, possibly on the work run. Unless of course they shouldn't have been in the area - stolen vehicle, thieving, visiting someone's missus...
They turned the lights off and on to check they hadn't been damaged in the collision.
They turned the lights off so that the cyclist couldn't see their number plate...
Is it me or is the Corsa the prime choice for cyclist takedowns?
After Audis
I thought it was Beemers that had the prime spot for anti-cyclist manouvers?
They are designed to provide the cheapest insurance so they attract the part of the market that stuggles to pay for insurance - young new drivers. Therefore dispropotionatley dirven by the inexperienced or over confident and self entitled.
I'd imagine Emma Way was driving a corsa?
In this instance we don't need to wory, its clear the driver just had their music on a little loud.
After finishing work very late one night, many years ago, saw two arseholes jumping up and down on what I took to be my bicycle, they jumped into a car and drove away. He turned his lights off which made his numberplate easier to read. I do hope he enjoyed the criminal record.
I do hope they find this toerag.
So how long did the two guys get?
Hah, as if. The driver didn't identify his partner in crime, I think it was criminal damage and a fine, apparently he'd had a bad day!
What a considerate motorist! They clearly wanted to turn left, but instead of continuing to do so after knocking the cyclist down, they reversed and turned right, presumably then having to go the long way around the block. It must have added at least thirty seconds to their journey!
Disgraceful driving, looks as though the driver deliberately turned off their lights to avoid being identified.
