ceramicspeed wheel kit confusion...halp!

Hi All,

I was gifted a ceramicspeed wheel kit upgrade for my Mavic Cosmic Pro 2020 wheels for my birthday which was awesome right up until the mechanic found the bearings to be incompatible with my wheels indecision

I'm having a hell of a time trying to determine which is the correct wheel kit even after contacting CeramicSpeed customer service so I am hoping someone here might be able to help out!

The wheels are these: https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mavic-cosmic-pro-carbon-ust-wheelset... and the kit I received was the Mavic-20 (Shimano).

Thanks in advance!

K-bob

Should be Mavic 22 from what I can see. 2x 6001 bearings for the front, 1 x 6001 and 1x 608 for the rear, and 1 x 608 for the FTS-L freehub.

Can't help you with that, but I have a set of Black Inc wheels with Ceramicspeed bearings and I can't honestly say that whilst the wheels are exellent and I would highly recommend them, I - a rider in my mid-50s that pootles along at 30pkh - cannot really tell the difference between them and my Chris Kings, my Chorus, Record, Shimano, or indeed the Novatec bearings that Harry Rowlands put on my Open Pros...

I'm sure that there's a wind tunnel and a computer somewhere that would tell me that I'm an idiot (or just not fast enough)...but don't make yourself miserable over this. If Ceramicspeed can't help you, take them back.
