Anybody put TJ on their team today?...
Awesome! Riblon will get you a bucketload of points today.
umm from what i've seen he didn't get any kom points!?
Fingers crossed. I'm a closet Aussie for the next three days.
Crap! Anybody put Riblon (!) on their team today?...
My bad missed the 6 or 7 incognito riders first time up the Alpe who made up nos 4-9
Bonnet finished for the tour
jeez, the amount of fans is unbelievable, Riblon having a bad time out front, people draping flags in front of him, having to hit fans back, madness
intermediate sprint

I had jeanesson for ventoux stage but he did nowt and got the boot- and scored well for 2 days running!!
thought about him again fro today, but plumped for Nieve and schleck instead arrrggggghhh
and went for rolland- i'm really mucking up week 3.
Is there any doubt that this break will get swallowed up? strong riders, but I think the saxo pressure will ensure the gap isnt big enough at base of Alpe 2.
Bonnet and Sieberg already dropped by the peloton. A long day for them now.

Roche & Paulinho 6'05" behind the 9 break & 2'20" ahead of peloton
umm a bit off subject....am wrong in thinking that some new badges may have been coming in for the Premium players?
I thought after yesterday that Jeannesson wouldn't be up for the break, that's why I went Fedrigo and I dropped Amador for Serpa as Lampre have done nothing this tour...FAIL
Result of col de Manse cat 2

Ramp du Motty cat 3

Break now 5'50"+
OK, it seems my guys didn't want to hit the break, but I think after the first Alpe the "real" break will happen
I took 20 points to get extra transfers. I better look out those gloves for Dave
Christopher Froome
Pierre Rolland (Dumoulin)
Pierrick Fedrigo (Kreuziger)
Thomas De Gendt
Nairo Alexander Quintana Rojas
Jose Rodolfo Serpa Perez (Amador)
Johnny Hoogerland (Tuft)
Julien El Fares
Murilo Antonio Fischer
Froome
Nieve (IN)
Schleck (IN)
Quintana
Kwiatkowski
Fuglsang (IN)
Thought about Rolland, Voekler, Kreuziger, D Martin etc, but went with Schleck instead!!!!! Woooo
Interesting to see a few people picking Schleck. A win on a big stage like today, tomorrow or Saturday would be redemption of sorts for him. Still seems a long shot to me, even if he did do an unexpectedly good TT yesterday.
My big thumbsucking point was to drop Nieve for Ten Dam; I'm hoping he'll be able to diesel over the next three days' climbs in or around the lead bunch, scoring some consistent stage finish points. Not sure Nieve will still see KOM in his grasp after today.
Yeah, by no means convinced by Schleck, but had 20 credits for 2 riders to keep until Sunday, so thought he was as good a bet as any. Radioshack going for the team prize so I wouldn't be surprised if he just rides with the main bunch for as long as he can and picks up 10th-15th place each time, though he may attack late if he has the legs...
Not really picking Schleck for a win but a top 5 is possible one or two days, realistically top 20 all three days and anything extra is a bonus.
Wow this is going to be some stage.... I could do with being sat in front of 3 TV's....The Tour, The Open and The Ashes....Sporting heaven...
What's The Ashes?...
Break of 9, 1min 30+ seconds
Amador
Riblon
TJV
Chavanel
Jeannesson
Danielson
Voigt
Boom
Moser
Only change was Rolland for Martin (T).
Looks like none of the 8 people ahead of me have him so I'm quids in if he goes on a KOM roam or wins the stage!
Not much happening so far in the stage in terms of a break being let go.
De Gendt and Evans have been dropped.
i hope all the sprinters make the cut today.....
I planned to make three changes but in the end I made five.
Dropped: Kwiatkowski, Mollema, De Gendt (unsure about that one), Castroviejo and Fischer
Brought in: Contador, Nieve, Bardet, Schleck and Quintana
Secret weapon is Contador. From memory he's never won up the Alpe d'Huez during the Tour (was pipped in 2011 by Rolland) so I reckon he'll try and drop Froome up the Col de Sarenne and on the descent then go for the stage win. He's not one to settle for second place and if he wants to win he needs to be aggressive. Fantasy wise I don't think many people will have chosen Contador over Rolland just because he's so expensive so I'm hoping to make places today and get back into the top 100.
Wasn't planning on dropping De Gendt but fancied Schleck and Bardet for a break over the next couple of days and didn't want to make any more transfers than I needed to before the last day so got them in now. I may (or may not) bring in Rolland for one stage if he looks like he fancies a stage win but I don't think that'll be today.
Anyway, my team:
Froome
Contador
Quintana
Bardet
Nieve
Schleck
Mederel
El Fares
Bonnet
Same tactic as me - switch Contador, Bardet and Bonnet for Rodriguez, Gadret and Le Mevel and you have my team. Heavy rain is a possibility near the finish, so I'm hoping the bunch won't want to let a break get too far ahead in case they can't control it later on...
What is it with you and me I bought in Contador, Nieve Schleck and Navarro, to join Quintana and Froome. couldn't choose between Bardet De Clerq and Navarro, but went for him because of improved tt result.
I fancy Valverde for today's stage, was strong in the TT and looking for redemption after his disaster. Nieve coming in for lots of support this morning, can understand that, he will be chasing Polka dot points to try to hang on to the jersey and may be let go.
