following line in a ST column, “Has anyone ever genuinely jumped in the air out of happiness? Out of the way of a cyclist, perhaps, or a rat…”   Maybe the commute today where I only just avoided being taken out by a non- indicating left turner or yesterday’s bus driver who overtook me 3 seconds before pulling into the bus stop, has left me a bit sensitive but using rat as the second thing after cyclist seems to be suggest an equivalence between the two. Really would hope for better from a ‘quality ‘ paper.

When did the Times become a

When did the Times become a ‘quality’ paper again?  Sorry, I hadn’t realised.

(IIRC they are always up there for ‘cycling baiting’ articles)
