Girona group rides and routes

Hi, this is a little last minute but to late to worry about that now. I'm going to Girona on Tuesday (19th Sept), it's my first totally solo holiday and I'm hoping for some tip/advice. I've sorted the main things... bike hire, bed, flights but when I get there I would really like to meet other cyclists and not have to stress too much about where I'm going. Also a bit of local knowledge about the best coffee stops would be great.

Any advice most welcome,

thanks for your help.

Jenny

Thanks both for your help. My budget didn't quite stretch to the service course but they do look like a great set up and I'll check out the shop.

I actually hired my bike from eating sleep cycle so hopefully they'll help me out with some routes and maybe some company.

Thanks again, Jenny.

You could try contact this meet up group,

English speaking cyclists in Girona. If you want any info about further inland towards the West you can contact me. Have a good time!

Best place to start for any cyclist in Girona is 'The Service Course'  Probably one of the best bike shops. Try to leave your credit card at home.....so many things I would buy!

They also have two coffee places, one of them being Expresso Mafia.

The Service Course Shop should be able to link you up with other rides, and defintley give you some ideas for routes. I know they do Guided Tours, and they rent out high end bikes, and also you can rent Enve Wheels to try out.
