    Hi to you all. I have just posted pictures of my two Italian beauties but could not see how to receive alerts when further posts are added.

    That said I have clearly seen the tick-box for alerts for this post – how can I now receive alerts for the two previous posted images ?

    Hi Joe. Thank you for your comments and especially on the notion of rearward facing QR levers.

    I have always been aware of the theories behind the advice /concept but as I am now in my 71st year and have been riding QR’s since the early 60’s  on my 1937 Hetchins Vibrant (Curly) Track Frame (coverted to road drop-outs).

    I have never had one get hooked and come loose never mind get hooked on anything or anybody else for that matter – the postion that I close them at is actually easier for my hands to get a more natural grip around them.

    Nice bikes but you really

    Nice bikes but you really need to have the front quick releases point to the rear and not to the front.
