Paris-Nice

Well its 24 hours before it all kicks off and personally i cant wait. It's a rilliant early seson race and there are some top riders taking part.

Fantasy team wise its been a bit of a nightmare working out my purist team, do you go full on climbers and GC boys or sprinkle in a couple of sprinters who can get over the high stuff and hope they are still there at the end but will pick you up points on the flatter stages ?

I've set my team up for stage one proper and discounted the prologue.

Decisions decisions, all i know is it will be great.

Team Sky have just shattered Stage One apart in the crosswinds and according to the Live Paris Nice feed from Le Tour, the whole Katusha team has been left behind, includig Kristoff.

On P-N website I have him as 21st.

The results posted in this thread are incorrect as they are missing Porte who finished 11th and shits everyone down a space

I may be wrong but I ant see there being many sprints.

Especially with stage 2 having cobbles, and stage 3 being slightly uphill finish.

so for my purist Ive not got any out and out sprinters, and 5 that could do well on GC, 3 of which could go well in stage 1 2. Ive got 1 allrounder, 1 cobbled guy/break. and one who should be the teams sprinter but not a top guy.

My standard is try and do well in stage 1 and see what happens, potentially 3/4 changes for stage 2, but 2 riders likely to stay in all week

Done the same thing with my standard team. I've included three prologue/gc guys with a plan for stage one.
Purist is the four best sprinters and two gc/climbers.
