Stuff like achievements also add a bit of fun.
So am I right in saying the only difference in prem and non prem is the extra races and two teams ?
Extra races, built in purist team, additional rider information within the game (points breakdowns etc) plus some other additional features like email updates if a roster change affects your team (ie a rider in your team is removed from the game you get an update).
All useful things but none of them are particularly game breaking or advantageous to have.
No more complaints then from him about stacking transfers !!!!!!!
That's open to everyone this year anyway so he didn't need to bother
