Tackle the famous hill climbs surrounding Matlock. This is an extremely challenging short sportive with ride options of 60km/37 miles (1750m of ascent) and 33km/20 miles (750m of ascent) based in the Derwent Valley and surrounding countryside - expect some very steep ascents (10 on the long route) with gradients in excess of 20%. Includes: Sydnope Hill, Bank Road, Riber Road, Wirksworth, Bonsall, Birchover & Rowsley Bar. Make this sportive your final big challenge before Winter.

Fair point about the brakes. But users would notice pretty quickly if the tyre was flat or the bike was missing a saddle.
I dont know what Conti were thinking with that price. But I can often find GP5000's for the same price or as low as £43 for the TR versions
