For our first visit to the area, we’ve chosen the impressive Mallory Park as our event venue. Not only is this a fantastic location to start a ride, but all participants will get a couple of laps on the motor circuit – all included in the entry fee! Once you’ve warmed up on the track, it’s straight out into the countryside for an autumn-winter road fest! The routes are fairly flat with undulating sections but a great chance to clock up some end of year miles. Quiet country lanes form the most part and make the entire route extremely enjoyable throughout. Once you’ve burnt enough calories to start thinking about the following month’s festivities, head back to the event centre for a finishing warm down lap and hot drink!

I'm never convinced how helmets with built in cameras and lights can be acceptable safe. Sounds like a good way to get a camera embedded in your...
