1 in 3 people in the UK will be affected by cancer during their lifetime. The challenge for leading cancer charities stretches from research to aid early detection, prevention & cure; as well as education, so we can all help ourselves as much as possible; through to the care and support for those diagnosed as they face their own personal journey.
Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Breakthrough Breast Cancer are those leading charities. For the first time they have teamed up and are seeking riders of all abilities and ages to join them on a unique overnight cycle ride from London to Brighton, and help raise over £1 million. On Saturday 20th September as the moon rises high over London's magnificent Olympic Park, challengers with a multitude of reasons for signing up, and on all types of bikes, will unite and ride out as they Challenge Cancer together!
