HERO RIDE 2014 - The Tartan Express - Edinburgh to London
Raising funds for Help for Heroes, the Edinburgh to London Hero Ride 2014 covers 440 miles travelling almost the entire length of the country, so be prepared for some long days in the saddle! The route has a military theme passing by Army and RAF bases including Catterick Garrison, home to Phoenix House, one of our regional Recovery Centres. You'll be riding alongside some of the guys and gals who have benefitted from the help offered here and at our other recovery centres.
The scenery on the Tartan Express will take your breath away, as you pass Roman ruins and castles by the Scottish Borders, cross over the historic Hadrian's Wall and take on the beautiful and challenging Yorkshire Dales en route to the grand finale with thousands of other keen cyclists in London.
Stick it in the road.
