You've gone from "he didn't make an illegal manoeuvre" to "there wasn't actually a sign forbidding his illegal manoeuvre". Hilarious. I suppose if he'd been drunk you'd be saying there wasn't a sign saying "don't drive drunk on this stretch of road"? I'm afraid your desperation to defend a person who has ruined a woman's life by committing a serious criminal offence either through staggering incompetence and negligence or a misjudged act of malice has made you look extremely stupid.

@SVXY Careless driving causing serious injury was an offence only created in 2022, before then it was only treated as Careless driving with a maximum of a fine, penalty points and a driving ban. He must have missed her, maybe because of the sun or another factor but was still driving at below the 60mph speed limit on that road. Had he seen her clearly he would not have driven so close to her would he and slowed down, even if he should have looked ahead of him more keenly. He did not do an illegal manoeuvre forbidden by signage on that road

Think the idea to only get fore/aft with the shoe and not the cleat is very interesting! it can be fiddly the existing system or any, Time, Look etc.. not many shoes don't have movement in the shoe cleat bolts nowadays, maybe more systems will follow.. going with a Ti axle would be good but Shimano love a cup & cone axle 🤷 - wonder if they've fixed the wear which occurs at the front of the pedal body!
