Agree. That's the Teamline version pictured, available in a couple of builds: https://www.cube.eu/uk-en/cube-litening-aero-c-68x-slt-teamline/1133910 https://www.cube.eu/uk-en/cube-litening-aero-c-68x-race-teamline/1133310
@Alec James Hand throttles should be permitted on all ebikes for this very reason, being able to get up to 15mph faster than even an expert cyclist from standing at the lights is a very significant safety feature that ensures the cyclist can cross the junction ahead of cars and lorries and avoid being left hooked. I no longer ride ebikes but I'd love to have a really small motor and battery on my regular commuter just for that function only (gap in the market for someone?). If the authorities are really concerned about people riding on throttle only (though I don't really see why, as a) it's permitted for rental escooters and b) an ebike can be set so the pedalling effort is pretty much zero (as I can testify having ridden one home with a snapped chain just by turning the pedals to activate the motor)) I'm sure a safeguard could be devised to cut the throttle power after a few seconds.
If they weren't £260 now, how would they be able to sell them for £130 in the sale?
@mdavidford don't worry, he can work well with people on social media: "...asking for opinions on social media is a good sanity test.”
When you've even expelled yourself as an independent you really have to start questioning your ability to work well with others...
Re Ed Hill. Re the turn into the side road. You are supposed to give way to pedestrians crossing the road. Why not cyclists on a cycle lane? Re the roundabout. The cyclists are crossing the road from one cycle lane to another not cycling against the vehicle traffic flow. You dopy old self-centered twat. And next time you are out in the countryside in your camper can, see if you can find your mahogony ex-Oberfuhrer Von Farage. He will probably be in a field, recording some irrelevant self serving self pitying press conference, or arranging some dodgy crypto currency transfer.
This might have been covered elsewhere already, but the other thing very few people seem to be aware of, including the enforcement officers, is that it is perfectly legal for a pre 2016 bike to have a hand throttle that can propel the bike without pedalling. The 15.5mph still applies, so the motor must cut out once you reach that speed. Immediate assistance is by far the best set up when starting on a hill or moving away from junctions in heavy traffic.
I don't need to read any further than that eye watering price.
Another example of an unduly lenient sentence, which is particularly galling in light of the driver's history?
Lovely colours on that C:68X.

Seriously though, it will be interesting to see how this pans out – but one thing is for sure, Lance will be feeling happy!
