We saw a lot of aero stuff at Eurobike, and it's fair to say that there are two opposing camps right now. On the one hand you've got the beefy Zipp Firecrest wheels, on the other the cut-your-finger-sharp Reynolds RZRs. On one hand, the barely-there-from-the-front Canyon Speedmax concept, and on the other? This. The Wilier Twin Foil.
Wilier's take is that the twin foils at the front smooth the airflow around the rest of the bike. They've had it in the wind tunnel plenty and they're confident of their sums; we were kind of interested in those claimed marginal gains but mostly we just thought it was a great looking bike. One's winging its way to road.cc towers in a couple of weeks, and it's destined for the show-off spot on the office bike rack. Heck, we might even ride it fast to see how it goes. When we've finished ogling it…
